Being a teacher in Nevada isn't the best or the worst situation. The state ranks fairly average — No. 23, to be exact — in a new WalletHub study that examines how educators fare in each state. The study used indicators such as teacher pay, pensions, school system quality, student-to-teacher ratios and public funding to determine the rankings. Despite Nevada's average ranking, the Silver State scored low in two areas: student-to-teacher ratios and teacher turnover.
