What's on deck for the Legislature on Thursday?

Lawmakers will discuss a measure taking higher education regents out of the Nevada Constitution at a 1:30 p.m. meeting where they'll also consider a measure to secure same-sex marriage rights.

They'll consider a bill easing the burden of unpaid hospital bills at an 8 a.m. meeting.

And they'll review a bill cracking down on motels that turn a blind eye to prostitution at an 8:30 a.m. hearing.
