PHOTOS: After a day off legislators reconvene in the legislative building to continue to hash out details on mining taxes and fixing the state’s budget

After a Thursday hearing that went into the early morning hours, lawmakers did not convene Friday. They were scheduled to return Saturday afternoon to mounting tensions as GOP Sen. Keith Pickard walked back his rior promise to vote for a reduction in deductions mining companies could take if the increased revenue would go towards education.

It is Day 11, and they can only stay for 20 days.
